I built one of those in the link above from PVC and it worked great. It would only pull in ONE sat in the backwards position with a dual LNB dish. (without moving the position of the dish)

When I used a dual LNB dish, I simply screwed it to a square piece of plywood, and bolted it down. I used my Equal-i-zer bars to hold weight on it. Simply set it on the ground, and leveled by putting a stone or something under it when needed. No fancy mount is really needed if you have room to store it like this. If you need to take it apart to travel...simply replace the nuts on the dish with wingnuts so you can loosen them without tools...very slick.

Bought a tripod from radio shack $30. Run pvc pipe thru to hold dish and stake thru hole in bottom of legs. Works great and stores easy too.

Direct TV 5LNB

I have the new 5 lnb dish and it is too large for the standard tri-pod. I got a suveyors tri-pod and adapter on EBAY for around $50.00 and it works great.
