Disappoint in one and only one person - Leveling Block Theft
When I am staying for a few days in an un-level site I leave my leveling blocks in place when I go out (26' MH). I have done this for going on 4 years without incident. I was at Kakabeka Kakabeka Falls Provencal Park in Ontario, Canada on Saturday and drove to see Fort William (well worth it). I came back to find my chair and firewood, but no leveling blocks (12). Spent 30 seconds frustrated and then got out my last 8 and managed. I have no plans on changing my behavior... Thoughts?

Sucks. Guess someone needed them more than you. Surprised your chairs were still there.

If I wasn’t going to change my behavior I would just buy more leveling blocks and forget it. It’s not worth the headache of thinking it might happen again. Do like I do, if it hasn’t happened then don’t worry about it. Have fun

Someone obviously needed them. It's possible you came back before they could take the chair and firewood.
Get a 'campsite occupied' sign to put out when you're gone and forget it.

I’m originally from Thunder Bay and it’s really sad to hear that but hope the rest of your trip is great. If your still in the area the Amethyst mine about 35 miles east is worth the trip.

What ... campground thefts in Canada. unheard of around these parts.
With our PM in Ottawa I thought we loved and respected everyone all the time.
What are we coming to as a nation?
Were they yellow, orange or wooden?
I could see someone taking your chairs and firewood but the leveling blocks.
I'm sorry for your loss. I too never take mine in while sight seeing. Then again mine are the orange ones.

One of my mantra's in life is: You can bitch about it, or you can do something about it, bit you can't do both. I NEVER leave anything unsecured. Ever.

I left my mine unsecured once and it was gone shortly after that. lol
My garage is like Fort Knox, and my kids when younger asked me WHY?
now that they are older and have watched their kids walk away with wrenches and ratchet sets only to leave them out in the rain or in the grass... as well as losing bikes etc from the open hole in the wall... they learn better.

Not to one up you but we stayed at Alum Creek St Park near Columbus Ohio were planning on golfing on Friday morning only to wake up and find my wife's and my clubs stolen out of the back seat of my truck. Needles to say did not golf on Friday I hope who stole them forever slices into the woods.

So sorry this happened. Hope you can enjoy the rest of your vacation. We do just what you do. We even leave clothes on the line. Never had a problem. So far. Hope the rest of your visit gets better.

For giggles:
I had political campaign signs displayed in front of my home. Someone disagreed with my political views. One evening around dusk, my wife heard a commotion out front...someone swearing a blue streak and the sound of my signs being thrown into the back of a pickup truck followed by the sound of the truck screeching away as fast as it could go.
Solution: Next to the replacement political signs, I made a sign on my printer...and laminated it. It said something to this effect: "Feel free to steal our signs. We'll just get more. By the way, smile for the camera." I had an old electrical box and a miniature light bulb. I glued the bulb to the metal box and hung it on a tree in clear view. It kinda, sorta looked like a game camera so long as you didn't look too closely. Our signs were not touched again until we took them down.
Getting to the point, a game camera or something vaguely resembling a game camera along with a small sign recommending the visitors smile for the camera is a surprisingly effective deterrent...and funny to boot.

Occupied
My attempt at a solution to the problem. Homemade (one sign - two teams) for our trip across country but rarely needed them since we didn't move our MH once we set up camp.

A motion sensor controlled "hunting" style camera, would show you if someone in the campground took them.

Reminds me of a news article my Aunt told me about. She lives in Blue Ridge, Ga. and read about a couple from NC I believe, had pulled off the road in their RV to spend the night. The next morning they noticed a gas can on the ground, a place where someone had puked and a siphon hose coming out of the black water tank.
