Two words for Fort Wilderness.....Da Bomb!

Ok...may 'da' is not a word.....but it's a great place. Been going there for countless years (annual and bi-annual trips) and have always enjoyed our stays.

However....I feel Fort Wilderness needs some expansion and money pumped into it. It's one of their first resorts and I think they need to improve on the frequency of buses in/out and the boats to the MK. We have found ourselves waiting too long for transportation. Bus timing is terrible sometimes. And with newer rigs getting bigger and bigger, I would like to see more and larger premium sites. Are you hearing me Disney?

Thats actually a good thing. There is a lot of construction going on right now because of the new Reflections resort. Ugh. By next year most of the projects that effect the fort should be done.

I like your way of thinking but i think with the Reflections build our hope of more sites is down the drain.[emoji26]

We just heard the loops around the meadows are going to premium pricing.
The wait times for busses and boats IMO are part of the community feel the campground exudes.

They are called "Premium Meadow Campsites" and have been on the reservations site for a few months now. Another way to plus the cost for those that really want those sites.

For folks that detest waiting in endless lines,, a few days before Christmas the place is almost empty.

A delight to walk past a "wait from this point 3 hours" sign and climb aboard the ride of your choice , no waiting.

We are here and mostly set up. Site 1811 not a bad site but what a pita to get in to. I think it was my first 90% push in. I would think a long bumper pull would be challenging. Hey at least i know my short bed and front cap work very well together. I will post some pictures tomorrow.
