Used is sold as is, sadly this means no power cord.

I would send a well worded letter to the local newspaper about the run around you are getting from the dealer then go buy a cord and never buy from them again.
You are 100% Correct! Youroo!!

Yes, I agree we should have told them we would wait until they found the cord before going through with the sale. We trusted them and now I just hope all the other items work after we do end up buying a cord. Businesses don't realize what they are losing by treating customers like crap. We will be looking for a new tow vehicle in a few years and guess where we WONT be buying it
Any ideas on the best and cheapest place to buy a cord? We looked at an RV store in Elkhart last week and the cords were around $139.

Lots of places to get one, just depends on what you want and when you want it.

Sadly for you, I guess you learned your lesson the hard way.
Never trust anyone...never...when buying use !
Ask me how I know ?
Hopefully you'll find a cord at a reasonable price, and sure hope for you that your unit is ok.
Happy camping !

Thanks so much! We have so much to learn since this is our first travel trailer. It's so nice to know we have a place to go where everyone is so helpful. I'm positive there will be a lot more questions in the future

Oops... Here's another question already... I'm sure there is a difference in a power cord and an extension cord. Are extension cords always marked as extension? Do the ends look different?

An extension cord will have two 30 amp RV plugs.

castlemusic posted this which is most likely what you need.

So can I plug this cord into a regular outlet in my house, using an adaptor? I can never run the air conditioner at home on a regular extension cord.

I thought I would have to ask the electrician to put in a special outlet just for my camper.
