SLIDE-OUT SLICKER -
Protects the carpet at both ends of a slide out room as it enters your RV. Just lay it down. •Lift carpet flap on slide room •Lay Slicker down against threshold at end walls •Retract room •After extending room store slicker in closet

I have them.............they work great to keep the carpet from wearing, and they also direct any water from the slideout to the outside.

Bought mine from my local dealer though......

Looks like something that would work to me. I don't have them...but I don't move the slide in much. (ok, once so far)

Hmmm?? Now that brings up a question for me. We ordered ours with "minimum carpet" which means only the bedroom and the slide have carpet. (Kathy likes the beach and wants to be able to just sweep out the sand) I wonder what the impact of the slider would be on the linoleum floor?

I'm not sure whether they'd be beneficial or not, especially on cushion floor. Ours slides across carpet and I really can't see any indication of wear or problems but I have considered buying a set for the big slide. Not sure if I will or not really.

I'd say be careful with it. I rolled out our fridge (residential style on wheels) to reinstall the ice maker pump and the rollers left an indent in the linoleum. YIKES! Protect what you can...when you can.

The slide slickers have teeth on the bottom also to grip carpet, so if you use them over lino, be prepared for little holes.
