And to add to this thread, we love our FR! With the exception of one minor problem with the stove pilot light it has been virtually problem free. We used it for over a month last year and this year is shaping up to be even more often.

It is not so much as things wrong as it is with FR and its' dealers dragging their feet on repairing warranty issues. We love our fiver on the road and camping, not at a dealer for months on end waiting for parts from FR. Also I would like to kick whoever designs these RVs. There are obviously not RVers. FR should ask us for input on designing RVs. We would give them good and practical ideas. My 2 cents worth.

Red face

I don't know about love but we like our Wildcat. It is much more comfortable than the Silverback we traded in on it. The Wildcat is quite a bit larger than the Silverback, This makes it more stressful in tight camp grounds and backing thru two gates to get it in our yard. I am getting a better handle on it. The added length seems to all between the 5er hitch and the tires so it backs a lot different then our previous one. The bad is I am getting a lot of practice hauling it back and forth to the dealer for repeated warranty issues and damage the do when its in their care. If we ever get it fixed and don't have to see this dealer ever again we might get to love it!

Love my 2003, 325S Georgetown. Any problems I have had I have been able to fix or get fixed without going to a dealer. I use it every month in the winter (Florida) and I head west to Utah or north to Canada in the summer. Sometimes both places the same summer. Love it, love it, love it!!!

Had several issues with my 2014 30wr toy hauler. Think I got the bugs worked out. I think a high school shop class could do better building these units. Alot of corners cut. Like a trim piece under the dinette booth, Board was broke off instead of being cut with a saw. Makes you wonder where Quality control was.

Anyone can go to Safecar.gov (NHTSA website) and search for recalls for their specific Forest River product. Just search equipment and then your make/model. I couldn't find anything on wheel studs for my specific 5er though.

We love our 2015 Palimino Puma 295bhss 5th wheel. So far trouble free, knock on wood. There is some less then perfect craftsmanship, but considering the price compared to other brands it's acceptable. The only thing that really bothered me is that everywhere they made a cut or drilled a hole, they left all the saw dust right there. I had to remove all the floor vents and vacuum out the duct work, pull out the draws, and behind the sink. Other then that, we are thrilled with our camper.

I love mine, but would love it more if we could actually use it. we bought it the first part of MArch and it has had warranty repairs done to ever since. we have missed the memorial day and 4th of july camping because of the camper still being in the shop. we took it out 2 times , just to not be able to use the oven because the door wouldn't seal and it has taken this long to get a replacement door put in and now waiting for the other issues to be worked on. can't even use it in the drive way

We love our NTU 2007 Roo 232. We bought it knowing there were some repairs that needed to be done. Our complaints aren't with the camper, it's Mother Nature that won't cooperate! The minute she sees that I have 2 days off together, she brings on the rain! My grandkids and I have spent plenty of time in the camper in the driveway though. Then they convince DH to build a campfire in the backyard.

With all the flooding this year here in East Texas a lot of weekends the only camping spot that wasn't flooded was my pasture so that's where we camped. Didn't bother me we loaded up like we were going cross country and went to the other side of the pasture and set up camp. We live in the boondocks already 10 miles from any town so you feel like your in the middle of no where. We take walks thru the woods, go to the pond and catch a nice Channel Cat for super, make a fire and relax. Camping is camping even on our own place!!! Sunday afternoon pack up and go back to the house. LOL we love it no matter where we camp!!! FR builds a nice rig!!!

Love our Georgetown-so far

Just started process of trying to get front end aligned and covered on warranty, only 6000 miles and both my front tires are worn out, so I need alignment and new tires now. Hopefully dealership will cover front end alignment

We have a 2006 Forest River Cardinal 5th Wheeler (Model 36-BLE) and we love it The only issue we have had is a couple of blown tires due to undersized tires being put on at the factory. I should mention that we keep our trailer on a permanent site now and we love it as our home away from home.
