Do You Name Your RV?

We are picking up our new 35ROK tomorrow....and are trying to come up with a name for it. Which got me wondering do you vets name your RV? And if so what are some of the names?

And post a picture if you like.

After having a larger 5th wheel we downsized to a small TT - thus the name "Little One" you see in our signature.

Ours is called RAYNMKR. DROUGHTBUSTER was too long for a vanity tag and someone else beat us to RAINMKR.
Of course we could have named our Coleman Pop-up or the Keystone Litehouse Trailer or the numerous tents over the years the same name. We camp, it rains Moved the RV to Camping World for some service work and it snowed within 24 hours, Go figure! Mother Nature has a warped sense of humor.

Well, to be honest, it has crossed my mind several times. But, in all fairness, I need to wait and settle on something that is a true representation of how I feel about her. If you asked me to give a name on the day I picker her up, it would have been something the DW would have picked. Something like "our time", or a nice name that reflects our efforts to acquire it. But, if you had asked me last weekend, it would have been "%%$#@ piece of %%$#"

I totally understand with what happened to you last week. It must be getting better, as your sense of humor is showing. You can always say you made a bunch of friends last weekend.

I need to come up with a name for mine, but just haven't took the time.

I REALLY love our 32RCTS-6. The DW and I looked long and hard at a lot of 5'ers and really from the first time we saw one, liked it. Getting to physically see one was the challenge and once we did, we pretty much made up our mind. It is a great unit for the things we enjoy doing. But, with pretty much everything I own, its "name" has a tendancy to change.....my buddy named his boat "The Struggle". I think that is a perfect name for a boat and was envious of him for thinking of it. I'm hesitant to give it a REAL name, because I know I will change it. It made me laugh too when I typed it.

It is. You have to have a sense of humor in this world!! My anger is short lived with most things.......I think that's a sign of getting a bit wiser.

Here's a bit more discussion on naming of rigs.

I haven't come up with a suitable name for mine yet but have been giving it some thought.

On our first TT we had a yellow dimond on the back tire cover. In the center was 2 trash cans one was overturned. and around it it read ( Trailer Trash Trainee ) Got a lot of looks and thumbs up.
