Dometic fridge clips
The pictures in my Dometic refrigerator manual are super dark. I cannot for the life of me figure out how these plastic clips fit onto the door latch to keep the fridge and freezer doors open. Can someone post a pic of the plastic clip in place on the door? THX

Thank you for posting this question. My DW said she thought they were some type of shelf stopper, to keep stuff from moving around. Neither one of us had any idea they were to be used to keep the doors open
Thanks.

Ours are up in our junk shelf with all of our papers. Maybe I'll retire the bungees and use these!

Perfect for keeping the doors ajar during storage. Just remember to remove the plastic clips before moving the trailer or the door(s) can come open during traveling.

You said it keeps the door open? I didn't get one with our Dometic, but why keep it open?

Keeps air circulating inside the fridge when it's not in use.

What b47 said- keeps it from getting funky in storage. We use bungees hooked from the freezer to fridge to block the door from closing.

I had no idea what they were, until now, and threw them away.

Good point and in our Silverback 29 RK (rear kitchen) the dinette slide will hit the fridge door when the slide is retracted if the clips are installed.

I have an a-frame with fridge, no freezer. Is there something like this for my small fridge? Not having much luck searching for "latch that keeps fridge door open".

Our popup had probably the same fridge in it. There was a little latch looking thing that I never could figure out attached to the top. It almost made contact with a chrome bracket on the door, but not quite. Couldn't tell if it was supposed to keep it open or closed but it never did either.

Oh yea, my popup had that as well. Basically the latch that you use to keep the door closed during travel has a second position that will latch the door slightly ajar.

Got that, but it doesn't actually hold the door open. Came loose within first few trips, had dealer tighten, and now it is loose again. Looking for something a little more trustworthy. Thinking I'm going to try to make something like this:
Camco 45641 RV Refrigerator Door Stay (White) : Amazon.com : Automotive
