All I really require is my Wife, my dog, stars over my head, the smell of smoke on my clothes, a cold beer, a few hot dogs, and time away from the real world.

We camp in non-serviced forestry sites for most weekend getaways, and will spend two weeks at an Oregon State Park with power and water this summer. I can take it either way, and look forward to it all.

We can camp either way. We have several children, grown and very small (preschoolers) and we camp wherever we are going. We also look for things at campgrounds that make it enjoyable for the children, such as pools, game rooms, putt putt, activities and family activities as well. However, if those things are not available we always are able to come up with fun things to do. Does anyone go to just sit in the camper and watch television? We have an inflatable 12 foot Movie screen and projector that we show movies on at night and sometimes the kids will hook up a game system to it. It is like a family/kid magnet. We also take along a kickball and bases, family games (ex. scene it) bicycles, fishing poles, etc. etc. personal preference I guess
