I was just ahead of this I guess I bought a new door set and locks for the compartments all keyed the same. If you buy the 900 series keyed locks they are more secure, no masters exist for that style lock. And now just one key for the whole trailer.
Door
TTL-43900-PC
Compartment
CH751 Security Upgrade

I got a recall letter in the mail and it described what happened to me in May 2012. I posted a thread on that and ended up having to drill out the lock cylinder. It was not pretty.
Well when called Fastec on the recall letter, I am getting new cylinders however they will not reimburse me for last years debacle. Their reason: I bought the whole lock set not just the cylinders! I will add that the option of just cylinders was never mentioned to me when I called about what happened.

Mine came last week. Went to install them and one of the new ones was broken. Waiting for another set.

Update. I have not received my lock replacement as of yet. I contacted the company and they started they are two to three months behind. I guess they one have over person processing orders. .. Don't know that for sure but it would seem that way. ..

I have a 2013 Coachmen Encounter with a FIC deadbolt lock with a key code of HF 320, which is on the list. Does this recall include motorhomes also or just TTs? The recall notice from Wesco mentions only Travel Trailers.

DSurette,
Not sure and yes, recall STATES 'Travel Trailers'.. but. ?? In our case the door effected is the SOLE entry/exit door. I'm thinking if the unit has/had alternative exits, they may not be under this recall. (but personally, I'd think ANY door effected -1, 2 7 whatever the number in the unit might be, would be worth checking & replacing if faulty!!)

I'd at least give 'em a call.. and mention the key number. Might not state what it's in until they ask.

Easiest thing to do is try it. If you can pull the key out when all the way counterclockwise, then it needs to be recalled. If not, then turn the key over and try again. If still not, then nope, you don't need to worry about it.
(Note: Ours was dependent on the direction of the key. One way up showed the recall, the other didn't)
I haven't bothered having mine replaced yet. Only my wife and I ever have the keys, and I made sure she's fully aware of the recall and we have never locked the door in the jammed position. The only time it's been locked like that is when we're clearing US Customs and they lock it back up after taking their cursory glances. At those times, at least nobodies inside and I just fix it a few miles down the road when I verify the door actually got locked. (I've needed to do that since the one time they didn't lock the door and it swung open on us on the highway.)

I called the same day this thread was started, then we left for Pigeon Forge (because we had two doors on the V-Lite with only one being defective). We had planned to pick the lock up while up that way as it was close. Changed our mind and called while we were still in TN to get them to mail it.
New lock was here when we got home.
