I've never heard of using Dove soap. Is there something Dove claims?

Would dove not remove the wax from the sides as it runs off in the rinse? I have always used Murphys.

It's what the factory recommended to me to use.

You may have your "D's" mixed up ... Ha! Many of us over the years with the rubber roofs have used Dawn dish soap. It works nearly as well as the high dollar cleaners advertised for rubber roofs and is recommended by the manufacturer. Don't use any citris based cleaners ... it attracts birds believe it or not and they peck away at the roof.

Lol. You are right. I think I did get my d's mixed up. The one that they use to clean oil off animals that were caught in an oil slick. That's DAWN not dove! Sorry for the confusion.

I have only used a stiff brush and water. The dirt comes right off.

Check the contents of Awesome - I think you'll find petroleum hidden in the ingredients - which eventually will eat away at your roof!

Have used Ivory on many trailers and if it's soft on babies, sure treats the trailers roof with care. Imagine Dove works the same.
