Dream Trailer, what would you get

The wife and I are considering selling the house and heading to a warmer and dryer climate (guess where)?
We have owned several motorhomes and now have a pull behind TT. So we are not new to having an RV.
If we do this, we would be getting a 5th wheel I am quite sure.
I have a new 2013, Chevy 3/4 ton with the big gas engine it. New truck is not an option, but think the chevy can pull about anything we could afford anyway. LOL
Thinking about 35' for so on the 5th wheel.
What options do you think you would want/need/desire if you were going to full time?
Any particular brand "better" for full timing than another?
Thanks

Decide what kind of layout you like and look for a camper that meets your needs. You will have to watch the weight of the 5w and the pin weight. We really liked the layout of our 5w and the only thing that the DW wishes it had was a tub/shower instead of just the shower but we will survive. We looked at a Cedar Creek 34RLSA and a Cedar Creek 36 CSK but they were over my budget and the weight was heavier than what I wanted to pull.

We pretty much know the layout we like and seems we can find it in about any brand.
Since we will be living it in forever (LOL), really wondering about options that are "must haves" for full timing.

It would be a Cedar Creek 38CK for me if I were going to full time.

One thing i would not want is the fridge located in one of the slide outs - something like:
Sierra Select Fifth Wheel by Forest River
or
Palomino RV - Manufacturer of Quaility RVs since 1968
or
NuWa Industries, Inc. HitchHiker LS

If money was no object, the KZ inferno 43 footer from a couple of years ago would be my purchase.

We love the front living floor plans. May just be an optical illusion, but it seems like they have tons more room than the rear living floor plans. The rear entertainment I like also. I think my main gripe with rear living is the TV is typically 15' away from the chairs and often a 32" or less.

From personal experience and those of friends - we all found the variable weights we had in the fridge increased the likelihood of slide binding / increased slide motor strain especially if the fridge was loaded for a long weekend stay. This was most apparent when located at a slide end vs. the middle.

For these reason we stayed away from slides designs that allow for significant weight differences from one side to the other when looking for our new camper.

For us- our dream RV came down to the floor plan and specific features that we wanted. Once we had the basic floorplan concept down- we established a set of criteria when evaluating the nuances of one camper to another with seemingly similar floorplans. Ultimately, what we bought hit most but not all of them and is frankly longer than I had hoped to be.

I'm not sure that there is a perfect RV- even if you custom design it yourself. There will always be limitations be they plumbing concerns, stuffing 10 pounds of potatoes in a 5 pound sack or having to give up one thing for another (less cabinets, but more windows).

You will not be able to pull a big fiver with a 3/4 ton gas truck. Went to the Houston RV show last weekend and I picked up a flyer for the Cedar Creek amoung others and there was not one Cedar Creek that I could tow with my 2012, F250, diesel, CC, longbed, RWD, not any one of them. The pin weight was to much and even the GCRW would be an issue on all but the smallest one. If you plan on towing with a gas 3/4 ton, I would look at lighter fivers. Good Luck

This thread was a fantasy about money being no object. It should go without saying that we would all buy F450's or larger to haul our dream trailers.

I mentioned the Cedar Creek as my dream trailer but to go with that I would also buy an Apex 189FBS to use for "camping." The Cedar Creek would be for travel.

I'd probably get an Aviator Wright Flyer..... that was meticulously built and everything worked and nothing leaked..... That last part really IS a dream, now, ain't it?
