Driveway camping

Had to work Saturday so we stayed home this weekend.
Moved the trailer so I could get the awning out and sit in comfort and not on the slope in my yard.

So, here I sit in my driveway, under my awning wishing I was at a campground somewhere, reading the forum.
Wondered how many others driveway camp when they can't get more than a few feet from the house to enjoy their camper.

We have our pop up raised and in the driveway for almost the entire season. We sleep in it, mod it, clean it, just hang out in it between trips.
If you cant get to the camp ground, might as well bring the camp ground to the house!

Cheers

Some of our easiest camping trips are next to the house!

Sometimes it just takes a simple change of environment to relax & decompress

We go to "Camp Driveway" almost every weekend when we are at home. We love it! A lot of times we just go out, crank up the a/c and play cards for the evening for our family time rather than watch television.

Mine is parked in the backyard. I have it hooked up to power from my garage and ran a coax to my Satellite dish. We have a fire ring for campfires and our picnic table beside it. So if we have no plans that weekend we just go out back and enjoy. Sometimes when we have a campfire our neighbor will come over and sit with us and enjoy some beverages.
We enjoy camping so much it doesn't matter where we are.

Happy Camping

Wish mine fit in my driveway. In town with a 32' doesn't work. Doesn't make a few of the neighbors happy!

Lol! When we got the 5th wheel we had to reconfigure the yard a little to accommodate the extra length. So what do you do? Make a patio next to the camper with a fire pit. We open the outdoor kitchen, crank on the music in the camper with outdoor speakers and hang out.
