Ducted A/C vent removal question.

2013 Wildcat 5th wheel, has ducted a/c that runs from the rear of the trailer towards the front.

My question is, is there any secret to removing the directional vent that mounted in the ceiling. Do you simply pull, twist, pry, wrangle or ?

Darn, I was in hope of an insider industry secret. Guess I could place one of the grandkids on a ladder up near the vent and say "don't touch that". I'm sure he could get it out very fast.

I had a tough time the first one I took off to.

After that I just reached up and grabbed it and gave it a "quick" pull.

They just snap into place.

I was talking about the "jerk" as a verb, not as a proper noun......LOL!!!

I want to make sure that the a/c duct runs are closed off at the ends of the run on each end. Many RV manufacture leave them open which allows for the conditioned air to be dumped into the front and rear caps or the ceiling void. I was also going to experiment with blocking the vent closed on the lower level as we have a 2nd non ducted a/c unit in the bedroom and forward full master bath.

I was also going to experiment with blocking the a/c duct closed on the lower level as we have a 2nd non ducted a/c unit in the bedroom and forward full master bath. As it is now the vents in the bedroom are mounted so near the 2nd roof a/c unit that it blows on the unit, cools it down and caused it to cycle when it shouldn't.

So I was going to experiment with blocking the duct air from going past the lower level of the 5th wheel and allowing the 2nd unite to cool the upper level (master bedroom and forward master bath). Or experiment with simply closing off the two ducted vents in the master bedroom and allowing the duct air to go forward to the master bath.

All has to do with hvac management flow/control.
