I'm with you! I spend way more time on the forum than my DH does. SPOCK123's wife ought to be glad he is on the forum and not some other type of sites!!!

Sure, if you use DW's charge card to buy it.

I do the research and he does the work. While he like the benefits of an RV, if not for my health we would probably be still tenting it. It costs a lot more to haul around a TT then a tent. Plus you are only allowed so many characters in your signature.

There is a section on cooking in this forum. Look under 'Forest River Lifestyle > At the Campfire'. There's a lot of good cooking going there.

Just tell her that because she said that you had to start a thread of your own titled "DW says I post too much".... Really if it weren't for the folks on here that have helped every time we've had a problem we probably would have given up long ago. Since I know there are many folks here willing to help I don't panic when something happens. I for one appreciate the good advice.

I read the forum almost everyday and have learned tons of stuff. Around our place, I’m the mechanic and DH is the driver. It helps me a lot when people post.

spock123, please pass on to your wife that I, for one, have benefited from your posts. I'm sure there are MANY others who have benefited, also. Tell her to look at it this way.... Keeps you off the streets at night!

Reminds me of a cartoon I saw in a magazine long ago. It had a woman sitting by the fireplace, curled up with a cat while reading a book. The title was "Women Who Read Too Much"......

DW said I posted too much

By paper and pencil standards I am highly educated and I have stopped reading. However, this is more like listening in on a conversation between many friends and future friends regarding a common interest. I don’t have 99.9 percent of the problems mention and pray that I never do but by listening to the conversations, I gain knowledge and confidence that I can do this. I could fix that with those directions, etc. I also gain the vocabulary to express my problem in hopes that someone will be able to help and that one day I might be able to help someone else.

My wife use to critique my posts on Facebook so I told her I'd drop it all together. She continued, I followed through, and haven't been on Facebook since. That was at least 5+ years ago and with all the stuff coming out I'm glad I shut that down. Although my wife keeps trying to get me back on Facebook I will never ever budge an inch for a couple of good reasons. So far critiques about my posts on this forum have not been forthcoming. However my account on here can suddenly evaporate with a single critique.
