Emergency Slide Out Manual Screw?

This is aimed at any of you owning a Solera 24.x' class C 3500...

Specifically, the 2011, which would be great (mine?). I've heard that in case of the slide out getting stuck "in", or worse, the "out" position, that one can take a drill and engage a manual screw gear (underneath the couch?) and slowly ratchet it in or out? Of course, once "in" I would take it to the nearest dealer not wanting to push my luck. So...

My question is where do we look for this emergency slot for the manual gear with which to screw it in using the drill? Also, what kind of attachment would I need for the drill? I know to check the appropriate fuses first, of course, but I'm thinking worse case scenario.

One other question is and not too apparent in the manual. As far as lubing the two gear rails underneath the slide out...how, how often, and with what kind of grease? Also, anything on the top-side of the slide out?

Haven't had the unit that long(August '14) and so far it's pretty smooth in operation, but just want to be prepared, that's all.

Hope some of you can help with some sound advice or direct me to a good source? Thnx and happy trails!

Manual closing is going to depend on the slide system you have. If you have the one in this video, the last half of the video will show manual closing.
