Even though the op said road was marked local traffic only, is there anywhere around there that a tanker could get loaded??? Unloaded??? Don't matter what signs say, if I need to go down that road to get to customer then that's what I gotta do. It's hard to say what all went on, what I do know is that company doesn't have baffles in their trailers, I don't either, if he or she thought there was a chance to get out and just the clutch out and realized there was a pickup under the trailer it's too late the liquid already is moving, this is of course if it's loaded. Could be bone head move, mirrors dirty, too much to watch, didn't think to check under trailer, too easy to speculate. Easy to see that it happens very fast though
