Ever See a Fresh Water Hose Do This?

Camco hose. Notice it is not hooked up and is still pressurized under its skin. Water pressure measured at 48 psi.

Yep, defect.

Return for replacement or throw away and replace.

That's so you can tell how clean the water is!

I normally carry two fresh water hoses. 20 and 50 feet hoses. I noticed my 50 ft Camco hose has done the same thing.

No an uncommon thing to see. I service commercial laundry equipment and I see this often on older hoses. Most hoses actually should be replaced every 5 years at the most as they can pop like that at any time and cause a big mess.

Yeah, I had another 25' hose as backup. That hose that blew up was a little over one year from purchase and of course out of warranty.

We've seen several of the Camco hoses do that. Don't know where you had your pressure reducer but we always put ours on the supply spigot BEFORE the hose to reduce the pressure on the hose also.

Had the reducer before the hose. Water was still flowing to camper. Just the outer layer filled up.
