Well I'm at home. We rarely go Memorial Day weekend since everybody else is out there. So we stay home and work our butts off around the house. Hot and humid here in Central Va. We need some of your rain. Send it on Tuesday.

If I could send it I would. My family souther (Southern word) of here are getting hammered with the rain. Talking about flooding like in 98 which wiped out booku homes and businesses along the Guadalupe River.

Glad I don't live next to any river........

I was actually raceing all weekend, but I did have the truck and trailer in the pits. Ran a new best this weekend, 11.23 @119.3 MPH . Friday night I won King of the hill, Saturday I made it into the finals, but lost out in the 8th round . Today I did horable and redlite in the 2nd round . It was a fun weekend though. We had a Jet car out there this weekend and it was very cool, It ran on canola oil (bio diesel) He ran the 1/4 mile in 6.17 @ 289mph, very cool.

Around the house with the family and careing for the inlaws. They are home now and boss is working today to make up for lost time careing for mom and dad so I am getting ready for the yard work and chill tonight with the boss. First night in three weeks we will have alone to reflect on all the problems and plan some camping. Then off to the Texas/Dallas tomorrow for a couple days work.

Richmond Virginia next week for three days work then 11 days VACATION!!!!!

Life actually seems to be getting back to normal today.

Mike

Just got back from camping Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun and we traveled today. Wasn't a bad weekend but the mayflies are all over the truck. I need to scrape all the radiators off again, the front grille and wash the whole thing.

Went biking a few times but mainly relaxed at the campsite.

Had a small job to do Sat. at Mom's house(65 miles to the west).

We hadn't made plans for Memorial Day weekend, so thought this was a good opportunity for DW and I to drag the TT down that way. We parked on a friend's property. 20+ acre lake with plenty large trees.
After the job at Mom's house on Sat, we spent the rest of the weekend just sitting around the TT with a few cool beverages
Heck, the weather was so nice, and being under the trees, we didn't even pull out the awning.
