Extension cord question from a newbie

We have been tenters and are new to RV camping. Does plugging into the household current work? Can I use household current to power the camper or should I just use the battery.? Thanks for any suggestions on power to the camper. Owner of a Palomini 132FD.

Etension cord

Yes, you can. Attach your RV electrical cord to your house, either by directly plugging it in, or by using an extension cord. If you have a 30 amp connection on the end of your RV cord, you'll need a 30 amp - 110 adapter. Any hardware store has them.

Just note that you won't be able to run the larger appliances (microwave, A/C) from the 15/20 amp power of your house.
