Getting silly

My initial thoughts were...

1. A tiny trailer like used to carry bikes or scooters.

2. A loo loo as in the Btitish loo; I don't know if the Canadians have loos.

3. Another way of saying poopoo but identifying the doodoo doer.

3. A yooroo youyou. Sasquatch?

Now, back o my lunch.

If I understand this thread, hauling two motorcycles in an open trailer would require paying two extra entrance fees. If I have a toy hauler and bring them into the park inside (and out of sight) will they insist on my opening the rig to "inspect it" for contraband vehicles?

One thing lost here...

The parks along the St Lawrence are absolutely beautiful. Camping right next to the river and seeing all the Ships moving trade is pretty neat way to pass a day while camping. It is also a historic site.

B and B is right. The different parks along the St. Lawrence river offer a magnificient view, but not all parks will charge extra for a dinghy. Only the Parks of the St. Lawrence, a government of Ontario organization, do at this time.

The only way to get things to change is to boycott the places that unfairly or over charge like this.

Hit them in the pocketbook. Bucking up and paying only encourages this behavior.

325BH, I agree with you, but since this is a minority that tow a dinghy it would have no impact. I will boycot the Parks of the St. Lawrence parks as I found other parks along the river that offer similar views with no extra for a dinghy.

This is probably mute, but this decision to charge extra seems to come from a misinterpretation of the original rule for 1 vehicle per site. Probably came from a government official deciding to apply the rule without finding out why in the past a dinghy was not considered a second vehicle.

Being a provincial park, good luck with the boycott, they got us up the youyou 😳

I'm from Alberta and would love to see that part of my country, this is on my bucket list when I retire when I'm 80 lol

Folks good news from The St. Lawrence Park authorities. They have admitted that a dinghy/toad should not be charged a fee. They have even reimbursed the fee I had paid. I am quite happy about this and will surely go back to the parks very soon.
