Falcon Heavy Launch
Before the next launch, my son and I would like to make the trip to Florida to see it. Are there any campgrounds near the launch site we could stay?

Yes, it is across the river, you can see it from your sites it’s called Manatee Hammocks, it is located in Titusville. I go there all the time, it books up when there is a launch so call early.

We were in Orlando and saw it from Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
I would have liked to be closer, though!

Also John they have a CG on the cape itself but it has always been booked when I go down there. They both are county parks. When you going? See you soon at the Tadpole...

Also, go on the base and see the museum, small charge to get in but it’s great, one of my favorite spots when I go to Florida, my good friend lives on Merritt Island, so I know the area well.

The problem is- the launches are so weather dependent. Even though they advertise a launch, it doesn’t mean they’ll do it that day. Florida is a long way from Ohio for a “maybe”.

We really like Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral. It isn't very big so it is usually booked. We have to book it far in advance.

Yep, that's the name. I can't ever get in there but there are so great restaurants right by there[emoji573]
