That does look like a really nice place! Enjoy

too bad it is on the opposite side of the country from you and a membership campground. I welcome friendly neighbors just don't want to give up my spot!! oh and to make it more tempting there is a koi pond with a little waterfall on the other side of the spot. The avatar in my sig is another spot on the same loop at that campground.

Since we are all friendly members of FRF I guess I'll tell you where we are located.

We're here in this campsite!
too far from you but that reminds me of Jordan lake in NC.

Looks like everyone has a great place to camp, with trees for shade and water to fish or do water sports. I have camping envy, the state park that is about an hour away has very small trees and the lake is closed to all boating and sports due to low level. Five hour trip to find better campgrounds.

My pics are from a CG that is about 4 hours from here. That is a casual drive with stops.

here's our favorite secret spot, but because we live in California, we can't divulge the location, since it's already hard enough to get a reservation there.

here's what the site looks like from the front:

This is one of our favorite campsites. This site can be found in a GA state park.

If you were talking about mine, it is at Gordonia-Alatamaha State Park Reidsville GA and is site #23 (I think). Site 1A is pretty good too. One thing to know about GA State Parks, you cannot reserve a certain site - first come, first serve.

I wasn't talking about yours, but that is a nice place too. I wanted to know where the place was in the first photo was; the person that started this thread. It looks so beautiful.

I was just seeing on the weather that Denver was getting another snow storm. You need help! I suggest an indoor waterpark resort for a couple of days!

Ok I'll give. It is site L10 at Sycamore Lodge in Jackson Springs NC. It is the flagship resort for travel resorts of america and you can camp here using coast to coast. It is absolutely in the middle of nowhere.... closest grocery store is 30 min away. You can't swim in the lake but you can take a paddleboat out on it or swim in the pool. You can catch and release fish in the lake as well. The morning I took this we watched a flock of geese land on the lake. We always here the birds chirping here and the bubbling of the little koi pond waterfall is very soothing.

Views of the koi pond and waterfall

The camper you see the roof of is in that L10 sweet spot I was talking about.

Playground and some other sites at Sycamore
