The 8285 the OP was looking at was already the lowest pin weight of the 828* series (except the 8280 which is 100lbs less because it has no third slide or outdoor kitchen). All the rest are 150-250lbs more pin weight. And even though the 8285 has a dry pin weight of 1187, anything you put in the BR storage (closet, under bed, cabinets), trunk or passthrough will add at least 50% of its weight on the pin. Unless the OP was going to tow as the factory made 'er, the miniscule cargo capacity the OP's TV had would disappear immediately.
A real problem with today's pickups is that the 'everything but the kitchen sink' option packages count against the '1/2 ton' that you would only get with a stripper.
Thankfully, the General gave my 2500HD a cargo capacity of 2487 even though it is the Loaded Truck CC D/A model so I've still got a healthy margin left after loading the 8282, the hitch, DW and stuff in the back seat.
That's why everyone here says you need at least a 250/2500 to tow most 5ers.
