Wildcat offers the 282 RK that is 30 feet long and the 293 MK which is 31.5 feet long.

I guess the first question I would have is what do you mean by "short"?
To some people, that might mean 20 feet.
Whatever the case, a rear kitchen model usually gives you the best counterspace, but you then sacrifice the living area. Unless you buy a 35-foot with 4 slides, you will have to make compromises.

Look at rear kitchen models. they will generally offer more counter space in the short fivers.

Rear kitchen usually has most counter space and cupboards. Very happy with ours at 33'

Ordered the 8285 WS with the counter extender

I order the counter extension when the order was placed, have not used it the first time. Huuummmm, think I made a mistake?

Does make a good conversation piece when it slides out from under the sofa tho.

The 28-foot Rockwood/Flagstaffs with rear kitchen are nice. Cougar also makes the almost identical unit. There are probably lots more, just do some surfing.

We have the 8280ws with counter extension that we have never needed to used yet, the rear counter space is great, might want to look that way.
