Fifth wheel owners especially - take a look!

Surely to heavens you would feel (or hear) something in the truck???

Yeah, can you imagine the guy getting to his destination and turning on the a/c only to have a big hole where the a/c and all the vents were?Youch!!

You would think. But I was recently struck by a RR crossing arm that almost took the rear ladder off. Never felt a thing. I think in my case, the rough crossing concealed the bump from the impact. But I think I'd notice the ac being ripped off. Whew!

that is the bridge on Gregson st in durham nc. it is an old railroad bridge that is still in use. people hit it all the time with trucks, trailers etc. It is not very bumpy there and it is right after a pedestrian crossing and a curve. The speed limit is 25mph through there. yes I would think you would hear and feel it.

I am glad someone posted this....it leads me to a question I have had of late. Is there a GPS that you can input height restrictions or weight restrictions..?

I am thinking it would be very helpful especially for those taller units out there..!

Rand McNally makes one just for RV and campers. You put in your size and it alerts you if you are on a road you will not fit on. Camping World has them at best price I found. They actually make one called "Good Sam GPS".
