This just works for me, most people don't have a extra fuel tank and they get along just fine.

2 days, wow, you must have a great bladder...

We have to stop at least every 3 hours anyway to stretch, use head and get a snack. Fuel up at same time...

Exactly! I so agree with you on those learning skills.

A matter of fact, yesterday we headed to our nearest Pilot to fill-up and weigh the new rig at the Cat Scale. I was on the inside lane of the first gas aisle, ( also facing the Convenient Store ) but I did scope it out beforehand to make sure I had enough room to maneuver out. There were a couple of vehicles parked in front of the store so I waited for open clearance. If I would have had to back out of the aisle, sobeit. I doubt that anyone wants to wait behind a TT to get their gas anyways, as they would see us as taking longer than usual anyways. Then 2 aisles over an even longer Salem TT pulled in. I'm guessing he either backed out or did some fancy maneuvering as well.

When we need gas, sometimes we have to see it as a challenge rather than a deterrent. Beats the alternative...........Walking!
I too like Gas Buddy, it is your friend when in need.

We have to stop every few hours and use the bathroom inside the camper and get a snack and I fill the truck up.

I am diesel with a 35 gal frame tank.Add a 42 gal toolbox/transfer tank, and since we have an electric golf cart, the 40 gal fuel station in the TH.I fill all this at home from a 500 gal skid tank outside my shop.So I haveabout 115 gal available on a trip,at 13 mpg. I dont buy fuel on the road very often.
