Final trip of the season

It's that time of year again !
Just came back from our final trip.
Empty everything from the trailer...wash & clean...winterize and park in the shed for winter !
Time flies !!! Summer pass by way to fast.
Sad time of year !

Yes we just got back from our last weekend this year as well. Spent the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend in the trailer. Beautiful weekend with crip nights and temps down to +2 Celcius so its time to put the pink stuff to it.

Our last trip starts in 2 days. DW , a school secretary, has a fall break fr, sa, su , and mon, so it's off for a chilly 4 days in the shamrock hybrid. Plenty of firewood and food. Gotta stay warm and full, right? After that then it's time for the empty, clean and winterize routine. Long time til April

Spent, what may be, our last trip this season on Dauphin Island on the Alabama coast. Weather was great, but the mosquitoes were out for blood, literally. I've never been bitten so much. Main reason was the 15" of rain that fell on the Gulf Coast the previous week. We stayed at Pelican Nest on Bienville Rd. Small mom & pop resort right across the street from the beach. We also took the ferry over to Fort Morgan a few times for restaurants, zoo and zip lines!

Another Canadian closing it up for the season too. Last trip was along Lake Huron through some magnificent Provincial Parks. Inverhuron and Craigleith then on to Grundy Lake and on home. Seriously doubt we will be heading south this winter so sadly that's probably it till spring
