Finally!

We got our new TT Labor Day weekend, and we are finally taking it out this weekend. We stayed in it 3 or 4 nights in the yard, but this will be our first hitch it up and go try.

Wish us luck!

BTW.... I'm using the app on an iPhone. Not really sure where this type of post should go, if I'm in the wrong area let me know. Thanks!

You will do fine but we are here if you need anything. I can remember my first trip out and how unsure I was for a short while. Feel free to share pictures if you want.

Good luck and have fun!

We bought a Rockwood 2502S.... so far so good! We got backed in, leveled, awning and slide, water, electric, all in about an hour.

Sounds like you are doing well. Now sit back and enjoy camp life.

Finally!

Well, I'm not exactly new to camping, I've been camping since the sixties with my family. We have a 1978 TT that I built a shelter over at a campground that I'm part owner.

My family has been camping there since 1969, and when the owner wanted to sell, 25 of the long time regulars formed a corporation and bought him out. I've been an owner there since '96.

What is entirely new to me, is actually traveling with an RV. We had a tent camper prior to buying into our campground, but we didn't use it that much for travel.

Now, me and wifey are testing the waters with an eye towards travel after retirement. For now, while I'm still working, we hope to day trip from the RV, and, of course, go camping with the grandkids.

I'm actually a little surprised at just how excited I am to do this! We had to settle on a little smaller trailer than we would have preferred, due to TV constraints, but if we get the bug, we can always upgrade later!

Ok, I babbled enough, lol, thanks for the well wishes!!

Welcome. We picked up our new TT a week after you and we still haven't been able to take it out yet! We've had some unplanned things come up that have taken up our weekends.
