While you must be current or retired military to get their insurance, it is not well known that you do not need to be to use most of their financial services.

Mind if I ask what that rate was?

Someone mentioned this earlier, and it's the best rate I found so far, 3.49% at the lowest, from Costco:

I'd be really curious to know if someone gets a lower rate than this.

That COSTCO rate was better than mine by 1/2 a percent; but mine was quoted 4 years ago.

Thats a great rate. I financed mine through my credit union at 5% and the dealer flat out said the best he could do was 6% through Essex/Bank of the West.

I'm still on the hunt for a better rate. DW says Im always looking for a better deal though :-)

Important update - although the loaner is the same, Bank of The West, you must use the Costco page, https://www.essexcredit.com/costco/rates/#rvrefinance, to get better rate. The generic page, https://www.essexcredit.com/home/rv/rates/#rvnew, shows ~0.2% higher rate for non-Costco members.

I am a USAA member and my wife and I checked with them for both car and rv loans. We were able to find other banks that beat them by a couple points. They used to be the best when they were smaller, but their rates and fees are going up to pay for all thier new advertising.

What other banks have you used? Are they better than Costco/Bank of the West?

Try Mountain America Credit Union. They are out of Utah.
