We went with a local CU. for the lower rates and we are members so it was a given.

x2, look for a credit union in your area. They generally have better rates.

Southeastern Financial Credit Union in Chattanooga, TN does 2.5% for 5 years.

My local couldn't compete with that. They are easy to work with and use NADA retail valuation.

Bank of America beat the pants off of both of my credit unions for the terms and amount we wanted.

If you are military, former military or if either of your parents were in the military, USAA is a no-brainer best bet!

Most credit unions are more in the 4.5% APR range on RV's and boats. Dealerships often have other finance sources in that range.

Handling financing in house is important for any successful RV dealership.

Yeah. They're not all the same. The CU I've been with for more than 25 years wanted 3X the rate I got at Barksdale. I opened an account at Barksdale just to get the rate. Keep about $5.00 in the account. Current rates are:

New Recreational Vehicles Up to 144 Months 2.69% to 13.69%
Used Recreational Vehicles Up to 120 Months 3.99% to 15.69%
