Retired Baltimore County PD after 23 years. Missed it for awhile but not now. Seems no matter what you do, it's wrong. I'm happy to see the work slowdown in Baltimore. Hope it continues. Someone needs to battle the rabble trousers who take advantage of every situation just to get their faces on the tube. And keep the politicians out of it too. I saw a story the other day where people were complaining that the police response was inadequate. And then others complain it's too much. Lose/lose situation.

Retired as a District Chief with 35 years in. Spent 3 years in the Canadian Army also. I hoist a shot of Jameson to all those who have given and to those still giving. Been retired for 13 years now. Still miss the Job, the adrenalin rush, and the people I worked with. Don't miss the BS from the top...........

Retired from California State fire service, at the end of 2014.
17 years as firefighter/EMT.
But too many injuries made retirement an easy decision.
Still miss it, but loving retirement so far.
