Firefighters, Police officers and EMT's

I'm curious. I think there are quite a few public safety folks here on the forum. If you are stand up and be counted.
Me. I'm a retired Firefighter, EMT (2008) with about 2 years in Law enforcement. 32 years at Henry co Ga. Miss it everyday.

Retired cop here. 26 years with Dade Co. Metro Police, formally Dade Co. Sheriff's Dept. Retired in 1996. Used to miss it, but not now, not with everyone snapping pic's of everything you do. Spend more time now justifing every action, every arrest, every contact, than doing real pro-active work.
Oh well, cganging times!!!

Retired with over 38 years in the fire service. Sometimes I miss it, but to coin a phrase I miss the clowns but not the circus. Too busy traveling and enjoying grandkids.

Volunteer firefighter with 43 years of service. Semi-active now due to a back injury sustained at a call. Miss driving the truck to calls and the guys in the department.
