Glampers here. Guilty as the day is long. We DO enjoy our campfires though.

One of the advantages of the TH is that I can cut/split at home, then nobody really knows if I'm bringing it in or tak'in it out,but its always clean and dry!

Just bought $15 of wood off site at the provincial park we are at. We have enough to last for a week of nightly fires.

Glamping to me is camping in a RV RV ing is a park where you barely fit on the site, not allowed fires and have full hookups. We camp at Provincial Parks have electric as health dictates for of both of us. And fires. Sort of boo docking without a generator.

I found a few different threads to post this cause it more along the lines of etiquette. We camped at Sam A Baker last weekend. On Sunday morning when campers started packing up and pulling out there was a guy at a campsite near ours that began to gather up the firewood left behind at the now vacant campsites. He drove around to all the campsites. I guess this is common practice for someone who is staying another night. We were staying another but had purchased our share of wood already. Then what kinda made it weird was that this guy then packed up and went home. Is it just me or should he have left some of the wood for campers that were staying over?

Sounds like a selfish cheapskate to me! Definitely a no-no in my opinion.
