First Aid Kits?

Just wanted to check and see what everyone was using for a first aid supplies in ‘the camper’

I actually just ordered one of these:

Adventure Medical Outfitter

I’ve used other adventure medical kits before and was impressed.
I don’t want to say that I, my family, or friends, are accident prone, but incident do occur and having the right items along has helped out on several occasions (I can look back and laugh at most all of those times now... ahhh the memories ).

For our purposes it's overkill. But then wer'e never off in the boonies very far and I'm a first responder. That's almost the size we carry on the fire engine. But if you feel comfortabe using everiything in the kit it should keep you prepared and offer peace of mind . Go for it. Good luck Besides the reason we're all out here is peace of mind. Remember a mind is a terrible thing to loose. Did I say somthing about loosing my mind. Hmm I better go hook up. Happy hour in 41/2 hrs.

Don't have that one, but I do have a OSHA/ANSI approved Emergency Medical Kit and added a few recreational first aid items to it.

Happy Trails,

flagstaff,

I'm a FF and first responder trained also .
The kits on our rigs are quite a bit larger, but we carry o2 and many other items all in the same bag.

You are right on multiple items, it is a sizeable kit, but it does add piece of mind.

Well if I have in emergency I hope I'm parked next to you. The worst I've delt with while we were'e camping was a sprained ankle when I fell of the cooler.

LOL......I would say that would be plenty farmermark, but, you could never be over prepared for anything. With small and older kids (me) you never know what could happen out there.

Nice first aid kit mn308. It also sounds like you are qualified to use every piece in that kit.

MrSen.

My luck is that I always park next to tax accountants and lawyers - never doctors or EMT folks!
