I use to live near Otter Lake, right down the road towards Cresco. You picked a great place as your first trip. You should see the place when all the trees are leafed out.

It's a fabulous experience. We have been camping since 1972. Started out tent camping in the Yukon Territory, moved to a truck camper for many years, then a TT after we had kids. Spent over 100 nights on the road last year.
Great choice for family memories.

Been camping since 1970. Started when our kids were young so we camped in a pop-up camper--4 kids, 2 adults, and a dog! Now that's CAMPING. Your going to continue to luv camping and you and your family will be recalling good times 30 years from now. AND--you'll learn lots of interesting things from your adult kids in your later years as they recall and laugh about experiences you had no idea had occurred.
Now 12 RV's later, and in our 70's, we still are thrilled to take off with our RV and spend months on the road experiencing great times as we travel and visit family!

Congrats! Glad to hear you're enjoying it! It's funny how our perceptions change; when I saw our Surveyor 220 at the RV show that my wife fell in love with (the trailer, not the RV show) I didn't care for it; the swivel tv looked dopey, the "lounge/dinette" looked like it wasn't comfortable & you can't get into the bathroom without putting out the slider a bit when stopped while traveling. But, now, after 3 years I just love this trailer. Well built, no problems yet, the "lounge" is indeed very versatile and comfy, and I have really come to like the swivel tv. It's great being able to swivel it around to the bedroom when going to bed and watch Big Bang on dvd. Tons of storage and great bathroom and the bathroom door is no big deal in the long run. This is indeed the best trailer we have ever had. Just goes to show ya'.......
Happy Camping!
