First Extended Trip

Just finished our first extended trip in our new Blue Ridge 5th wheel, put just under 6,000 miles in 3 weeks, had a great time and learned a ton. Some of the learnings:

> Fellow RVers are about the most helpful and friendliest people you'll find.

> The guy towing the trailer isn't trying to hold you up, he's trying not to beat the heck out of his investment.

> Tax money from fuel purchases is obviously not being spent on maintain the interstates, most of the state roads are in much better condition.

> West Texas winds will kill your fuel & time.

> Most importantly: we absolutely love being on the road, been home a week and a half and are ready to load up & head out again.
