First RV TRIP Observations

We just got home from our first ever RV trip. We were gone 10 days and traveled a little over 1500 miles and we can say that we loved it and can't wait for the next trip. Here are a couple of my newbie observations. #1. People drive crazy in cars, trucks, Semis and on motorcycles. #2. The roads are in terrible shape. #3. There are not enough gas stations that are RV friendly. Other then that, no complaints

Great to hear you had a great trip. Many more are on your horizon.

I try NOT to use gas stations at all with the 5er attached. Pilot, Flying J or any truck stop is preferred. Most roads including interstates ARE in bad shape~ have to go slow. Drivers can be bad everywhere. I live on the coast near tourist areas. They come from all over to prove they left driving skills and brain cells at home.

I don't think they left their brain cells at home. That implies they once had some. As a former member of the world's greatest Anti-Darwin Society (aka US Coast Guard), we used to congratulate ourselves on yet another likely depletion of the human gene pool when we saved a stupid boater from his rightful destiny.
