Question First time buyer

I am currently looking at purchasing a 2000 Sierra T21 Forest River ToyHauler. It's in excellent condition for the year and the guys asking $9500. Is this a good price? On NADA Guides if I did it correctly average is $6855. Please help.

Is the seller leaving any of the toys with it? I would look around first, but if you think it is worth it then get it. I would find out if he had any kind of maintenance records on it, but I would still talk him down and find out if the hitch equipment is part of the deal. Good luck.

I believe I would look around. That sounds a little high to me.Also unless it has new tires you are looking at buying a set because of age.

No there are no toys with it just the trailer, I'll just keep looking if he won't budge on the price.

And like Cat1956 said check the tires, look to see what the date codes are and ask about the wheel bearing and brakes, when they where replaced and or serviced last.

We recently bought a '00 32' Sierra for $6k. I think even for a toy hauler the seller is asking a little much.
