First time storage

I'm about to store my travel trailer for the winter (bought it new this year) and in the past with other units I've owned moister has been a problem. So this one will be stored in a shelter to keep the rain and snow off. I've read a lot of the advice that others on this site have given about winter storage, but the subject of using an electric dehumidifier isn't mentioned and since I live in a very wet part of the world (Vancouver Canada) I thought it would be a good idea. Does anyone have any ideas or experience using them? I welcome all ideas and comments.

I have max air covers on my vents and leave them open for the winter to avoid some moisture. I also put a couple of those dessicant cans around to absorb moisture. I would think a dehumidifier would work as long as you can monitor it.

We're on a seasonal site but also leave our vents open a crack. As long as you camper is in a shelter it might not be a bad idea to keep a window cracked open too. We also put a lot of DampRid dehumidifiers throughoutt the camper.
