First trip was a success, started off bad, ended good.

Took the wolf pup out for its first trip. (2015 16bh). I was hoping to get out of work at 1pm, had to stay until 4pm. Oh well no big deal. Get home, fill the trailer up with water. Come back out a few min later and its leaking out from under the camper. Take every thing apart on the water tank and find a loose fitting. problem solved. Now its 6pm. Hooked up to truck ready to go. Trailer brakes are locked up. Call the dealer,(3 hours away) they were closed but answered and helped me out. The disconnect pin on the breakaway switch was gone. Im positive it was not on there when i brought it home.I remember looking at the box wondering what it was. The trailer had a tripped inline circuit breaker by the battery when i picked it up(i had a post on that and got it resolved) and i guess it bypassed the brake switch. Dealer said orileys should have one in stock. they did not. So i just cut the wires on the box and went on my way.I will fix it properly this week. Got to campground about 830pm and got set up. Everything from there on out went perfect. Had a great time. Cant wait to get back out. Hopefully got all the kinks worked out on the camper.

Glad to hear it went OK after your problems. My wife and I have had our RV for a year now and love it. You almost have to treat it as a hobby. It would be great if it was a "hook up and go" world, and every now and then it is, but usually not. Great looking trailer!

Glad you are camping and enjoying your camper despite the rough start. Your campsite looks pretty nice - can I ask where it is and the name of the campground?

I was at Johnson shut ins state park. Its in southern MO. A massive reservoir broke several years ago and destroyed the place. So they rebuilt it and everything is basically brand new. Cool place to hang out and swim.

It looks like you found a great campsite after you got there. Those hiccups on start-up were just learning experiences. Now you know much more about your camper.
