Flag Pole Info Needed

As we've camped around a bit here in AR., we've run across several campers with great looking flagpoles that stick in the ground. They look like they're made of white PVC and have 2 parts - 1 sticks straight up from the gound and the other juts out at a 45 degree angle (that's the part with the flag on it). Has anyone run across something like this and where can I get it? Or is it something we'll need to make ourselves? It looks like a great way to display a flag!

Are you talking about the standard wheel type like this:

They can be had loads of places online. I've seen other types as well. Some people build their own.

Here are plans for a homemade PVC rotating flagpole:

I installed a flag pole on my camper before this new idea came about with PVC, nice idea. I used a 16' fiberglass painter pole that is adjustable, it is attached to the ladder on the back, I added a pully on the top so I can raise or lower the flag from the ground after I adjust the pole to it's max hight, on the top of the pole I used a plastic soft ball and painted it gold. I am able to add more then one flag.

Cool Flagpole Mount Question

I saw a few of these mounts on trailers last June in Michigan @ the race. I couldn't see anything on the mount about a mfr' nor anything on a 'net search. Anyone know who makes/sells these?

I was able to fab 1 in my shop, but thought I'd show it to help those w/o shop facilities.

Thanks NDJollyMon.
I have been looking for that PVC flagpole design for over a year.
Seen some folks near the Grand Canyon having them and also thought they were neat.

Iggy, I made mine by looking at others. The plans call for 3/4" pvc I used 1".
I just think it looks stronger and a more dominant support for our flag with a 3x5 flag on it then 3/4".
I used a 10' piece of 1" pvc pipe, one "tee", one "45 degree fitting", and "two caps", and "three eye hooks".

48" from the ground up to the 45 degree fitting, then a 6" off set to the "tee", the lower side is 24" with a cap and installed an eye hook at the end of the cap to hang whatever from it, the upper side where the flag is displayed is approx 42" with a cap.

I have seen where some people have added a "tee" on the lower side and installed a solar light so no matter which direction the flag is facing the light is shinning on it all the time as it should be at night.
