fleetwood pace arrow 16 years old

I have a 34 foot pace arrow and it has a valve by the black water "marked bypass". I don't know what it does.
My guess is it is for cleaning the black water tank but what does the "by pass" position do?
It sounds like water is running in either position.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm sorry about a pix, but the rig is in storage away from me.
If I can't get the answer, then later in spring I'll get a pix and post again

... by the black water _________ (what?) dump valve handle? etc.? I didn't think they were adding black tank flush connections that long ago. Maybe you're seeing a water heater bypass valve.

It is not the hot water bypass valve. That is in the back of the rig, next to the hot water heater.
This is next to the black tank water fill. It flows thru the blank tank when it is in the horizontal position. but when I put it in the vertical position I still hear the water flowing.
Any idea where it maybe going? filling the FW tank?

Have you tried posting this on a fleetwood forum? Forest river does not make fleetwood. You may get a faster answer there.

Haha....I hope it doesn't go into your FW tank.

I'm sorry but I have never heard of a black tank water fill. The only way you can fill any black tank I've ever owned is through the toilet.

My guess would be bypassing the sink and shower to the black water tank. Is there a grey water tank? In the old days you could run the sink to a hose and dump it to the outside. But 16 years isn't old enough.
