Is your sewer hose connected to the ground drain, and if so, is the black tank drain valve open?

No suggestions about source of flys but I do have a suggestion for dealing with them. If a fly lands on a surface that is hard to swat or if you have trouble hitting a fly with a swatter (like my wife), spray the fly with Windex with ammonia. Make sure your sprayer is ready before you approach the fly by pumping the sprayer to get the fluid ready to go. Narrow the spray enough to be sure you will drench the fly. You may need to spray a couple of times as the fly falls. Knock it down and pick it up with a tissue. This is the best tip I ever read. We use it all of the time. I hope this is not too much of a hijack of your tread.

Hang up a fly paper strip. We did this when we had fly infestation when camping in Gettysburg. Our fly problem was a result of having a site right next to the horse stables.

First, you need to determine what kind of flies they are, then you can begin to work out where they are coming from and how to get rid of them. Are they green, black, large, small? What color are their eyes?

Penny, the black water valve was always closed until it was ready for a clean out.The gray water was always open.Is the understanding that these flies (black in color), fly up the gray water hose and through the sink when real small. I say this because every morning there would be about 5-9 small real tiny (pin head size) flies flying around the skyline in the bathroom just up from the drain in the shower. We had closed the bedroom door seperating the bathroom, and living, kitchen, only to see all of them in the bedroom only. Also keep in mind that all doors have a huge opening at the bottoms so maybe they were flying under the bathroom door turning left to head under the door to the bedroom.I do not know. But yesterday I look inside the rv and there were no more because it is in storage know. All were dead.I guess from searching the net we have seen were everyone keeps gray, black closed until ready to dump and service.I have put cbleach down all grey water outlets, twice and will do so one more time.Nomad297 can not get that close to check there eye color, but yes black in nature, and look close to house fly size.
