Foam mattress

Has anyone found a source for short queen "new generation" foam mattress. And any reviews/opinions will be appreciated. We have a custom traditional style currently on our murphy bed which is great, but it weighs a ton! My wife has had a few back surgeries (and I'm an old fussy fart) so we need quality. I assume that the new "bed in a box" varieties are lighter in weight?
Thanks in advance, John

I sleep on a Temperpedic at home for my Lupus and we bought this 1 for our Toy Hauler.

It has worked out great. We have a different 1 in our Wildcat as it is a true queen but similar bed.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. It looks like I'm going to order the Vinus 10 inch memory foam from Amazon, but before I do: is anyone using a mattress of this type on a murphy bed, does it have the rigidity to be stored in the vertical? Thanks again, John

Google RV queen mattresses. All sort out there.

Yes they are rigid enough for a Murphy bed. They come wrapped up and you think is this right? But once they air out overnight and expand they are good to go.

Just for reference, we added an approximately 8" extension to our TT queen bed and then bought an 8" standard queen size memory foam mattress. Love that mattress! but it is heavy - around 85#

We added a "My Pillow Mattress Topper" to our TT queen mattress.

Check it out. DW would rather sleep on it than our big California King at home.

previous TT had a short queen in it. We bought a foam queen from IKEA. We slid the short queen mattress down about 6" and mated both mattresses at the foot of the bed. Worked perfect. You weren't even aware that the "top" mattress cantilevered at the head of the bed by that small amount. That mattress now sits on top of the full queen innerspring in the V and is way comfortable

We just have a thick 4" foam topper on the "Serta" spring that came with the Rockwood. Pretty comfortable.

We replaced our Queen with a Zinus short queen we ordered from Amazon.

Loved it so much we replaced the mattresses in the S&B with the same brand also from Amazon.

Very comfortable.

Much easier to move around as well. Don’t know exact numbers but it is a lot lighter than the standard type mattress we replaced.

Question which zinus foam mattress for RV is best

Looking at Amazon descriptions and see two with very different prices but same size. RV-SC-BTCM-8SQ Short Queen 8"x74"x60" - $350 and SM-SC-BTCM-8SQ Short Queen 8"x74"x60" - $162. Called Zinus, got someone in Asia I think, says SM is Full Queen 8"x80"x60". Doesn't make sense and can't reach Amazon to get answers. Anyone have experience to unravel this mystery?
