During the camping season our trailer is parked on our drive when we are home. Obviously, it is not on the drive when we are gone, often weeks at a time. We believe that the best home security system is good neighbors who, watch out for each other. When something seems out of place our neighbors call us or the police.

My wife worries about it but we have great neighbors whom we let know when we'll be gone. We watch each other's houses. And of course the alarm system and video surveillance is activated so I can watch the house on my cell phone.
Maybe spend some of that dough you're rolling in on a security system or at least a few signs in the yard. Lol. Good luck.

We live in the country with just a few neighbors. We kept MH in drive next to garage. Packing to leave on a 10 day trip we noticed some white trash boys working on house next door. Sure enough, when we didn't return the next Sundy as we usualy did we were broken into that Tuesday night. Neighbor sais she saw every light in the house on about 3:00 am but didn't think much of it. I guess we're just too well known as party animals. Cleaned us out, pisser was we knew who it was but couldn't do anything about it. I guess the alternative is never leae home.
