The best I can offer is to make certain you do not wind up with more trailer than truck. Not meaning to sound like the tow police but do the math and watch your payload wt. Nothing is more precious than your family. Compromising on your tow vehicle is not the place to save. You can pull a lot with 1/2 ton trucks today but that doesn't mean it is the correct or safe thing to do.
