Forest River additional year of warranty??

We are about to purchase our second Forest River RV. When we made the first buy we paid $100 for an additional year of warranty. It is my understanding that that will be available again at the time of purchase but for $250.

We did not use that second year of the warranty the first time but we considered it a good purchase. Now we should be offered the same opportunity and I am leaning toward doing it again.

What are the thoughts out there and do you know where I might find out what is covered before "closing"?

We just purchased a Columbus 320 RS. The additional year of warranty was $150.00. There was a form in the Forest River owners manual. The payment goes directly to Forest River and not through the dealer. I think for $150 it's a no brainer.

I believe the cost is dependent on which RV you buy. I have attached the form so you can see what's covered. You can coordinate this with your dealer during purchase and he'll know what you need to pay.

it's still a bargain at $250 and should be a no-brainer to buy.

Can someone post the Price Sheet that is referenced in the Attachment that Len & Cheri posted above?

Or, provide a link to the current Form and Price Sheet?

Thanks

Please ask because the list that I received didn't list the model of 5er that I got in February 2012, V-Cross 275, as one that you could get the second year for $150. I called and the told me yes to fill out the form and send a check for $150 and within 1 week, they signed the same form and sent it back to me.
The dealer where I got the 5er stated that they didn't know about it and tried to sell me an extended warranty for about $2,000. When I asked Foreat River about it they told that the dealers are not required to tell you abou it!

Quickest way to do it is to call Rhonda at 1 574-534-3167 and let her put it on your Visa card. She does the paperwork and mails you back the signed form.
