This is the first I have seen this type post from Forest River on the forum. When did this start?

I personally don't believe that ES_FR is really a real FR representative, despite being told by the moderators that he/she has 'FR listing status'...whatever that is.
Because that person will never respond to or answer any real questions other than the canned response that he/she always gives.

JohnD, do you care to post where you got your information that moderators told you he "has 'FR listing status'...whatever that is"? Have you ever sent him a PM and got no response? I've sent him PMs and got responses.

I think FR is trying out a semi automated response using some type of algorithm to determine who to refer the member to (make and issue). Although the post is automated, the FR referral person is real.

On the XLR posts we had Bulletbob , he was an employee and helped many of us with issues. It was great getting help from someone who understood how the unit was built.
It is my understanding that he did this on his own time .

I think I’m in agreement with the statements above. Although I wish there was more direct input from Forest River employees such as bclemens of Dynamax.
He’s very into his product and his customers. They’re so lucky.

Yes, you are right. He helped me a lot when I first bought my Wildcat. As I remember, he took a job with another manufacturer.

Yes, we are trying to garner more support from those like Brian Clemens, who does this on his own volition. I see him respond during his off hours and weekends, when you know he is not getting paid to do such. He truly cares about his customers/members here and does a lot to solve problems and/or make everyone satisfied. It does take a person like Brian, with a very thick skin to put themselves out there for some of the kind of stuff they are subjected to.

A very long time ago we also had Sabre Sam. The FR reps are not paid to spend their time on here. They do it as a kindness to FRF members. whatever or whoever this newest response is, I take it as a step in a positive direction.

Now that makes sense and clarifies the responses.
I'm sorry for my misinterpretation of this.

Just what we need here, a bunch of FR bots to post canned responses.

Don't know as if I would look at it that way. Everyone of the ES FR responses provides a link to webmail a real person with the details of your problem. I have not heard one member of this forum post that they didn't get a response.

No, you must not have been here when Wildcat Chris was on here, he gave honest advice and answers. If he didn’t know he would say so and get back to you. I hated to see him go but he got a better job with another company. The time he spent on here was his own time.

Yes. Back then if you e-mailed a question to Palomino-Sabre, the response came from SabreSam. A little later, "Cristopher Columbus" was helping with Columbus issues.
I also know that representatives from both Lippert & MorRyde lurk the forum and suspect a few others do as well.

It doesn't matter to me if I get a "robo" answer or real live person answer. The important thing is getting somebody who can help us. I'll take a Bob Clemmons wannabe if that's available. Beats the snot out of NO response. Don't cha think?
