We love our FR trailer. I agree that the dealer will make you or break you. We have had good experiences with our dealer. There have been a few things that I repaired myself instead of using the dealer. This way you get to know your unit. We also had it back to the factory for a repair and they were extremely helpful. A lot of the time FR gets a bad rap because the microwave broke, the water heater failed, the tv/radio screws up, etc. FR did not make these items. They came from different suppliers. But because FR's name is on the final product, they catch the grief. Comparing the same items in your home to the ones in your rv is comparing apples to oranges, not apples to apples. Your house does not travel down these "lovely smooth" roads that your rv does. I've been down roads that would wake the dead. Think what that is doing to your rv. The other brands deal with the same thing. Just saying.....................
